Sunshine Coast Roadworthy Inspection Centre’s Owner/Operator is Geoffrey Webb (also know as ‘Webby’) who has 38 years experience in the Motor Vehicle Industry. Geoff started training to become a Mechanic at Hervey Bay in 1981 through an Apprenticeship with Charlie’s Auto’s/RACQ. After 7 great years working for Charlie, he then leased a premises and started his own Mechanical Business, G & G Auto’s, later renamed, G & K Autos with much community following and support. Geoff had the opportunity in 1998 to build his own industrial building and open a new, state of the art workshop with all new equipment where he specialised in LPG Installations, motor vehicle Servicing, Repairs and Roadworthy Certificates. Geoff had the contract to service the Government Fleet cars including the Police, Ambulance and Electricity board vehicles for 10 years before selling his business.
In 2002, Geoff sold his Hervey Bay business, and found the sea change he needed on the Sunshine Coast. After a few years break, he couldn’t keep his hands clean so in 2010 Geoff and wife Sheridan opened Sunshine Coast Roadworthy Inspection Centre at Kunda Park, once again offering unbeatable friendly and trusted service to his customers. Focusing on Roadworthys, European vehicles, Smart Car parts & Compliancing, SCRIC can also assist you in all your Motor vehicle repairs, service and maintenance needs including fitting tyres onsite. A family operated business, you can rely on him to ensure your vehicle is kept safe and reliable.
3 years later and it was time to move to a much bigger workshop located at the Kunda Business Park 6/24 Hoopers Road. Boasting a fresh blue workshop floor, our new premises is very modern and comfortable with a lovely big office/waiting area. We are proud that our customers will be able to see Geoff in action whilst they are waiting for their vehicle service and repairs to be completed due to the windows between the waiting area & workshop.
